Richard was professional. He did a great job teaching us at our level and we appreciated his excellent English. His skiing instruction was helpful in teaching the mechanics of cross country. Starting to learn nordic ski classique and Richard was recommended to me by a trusted friend. He’s really patient with first timers like me with subpar downhill skiing skills! I learnt a lot and gained a lot of confidence from our three lessons together. He’s quite cautious and will not push you to do stuff you’re not ready for. Most importantly for me, he’s a really friendly and warm person so it’s easy to spend some (slow) gliding time with him! Would recommend him for anyone looking to learn this sport. I am a beginner and he was extremely knowledgable and patient and gave me the confidence I needed to go out and explore on my own for the rest of my holiday. Chamonix has a Large area perfect for beginners- ski hire right next to the ski du fond area. Richard was very clear, approachable and professional; managing to break the technique down into understandable steps. He was calm and had clear instructions for the both of us. The exercises made a lot of sense, and after an hour as a beginner we could already feel some progress. Richard was an excellent teacher. I was hoping to find a really good teacher to teach me classic cross country and I did. I had two, two hour lessons with him and I was a complete beginner when I started. I felt that I learnt a lot, enjoyed my lessons and the time flew by! He was great with me, very patient and kind. I’ll definately book another lesson with him next year if I’m lucky enough to come back. I can highly recommend.
Prévoyez une tenue de type « ski » avec des chaussures de marche chaude ou des bottes de neige. Une paire de gants avec bonnet et lunettes de soleil sont fortement recommandés.
